Sep. 29th, 2010 10:41 pm+ I have a cold. Bleh.
+ I skimmed through a lot of it, but you guys were right, it wasn't that bad, oddly Asian-looking goblin and flatulence notwithstanding. Gwen's nightgown was lovely, as was her detective agency with Merlin and her awkwardness with Arthur, although I note that Gwen and Arthur have once again gone back from ONE TRUE LOVE to ~feeeelings stage. Arthur's donkey ears were the BEST THING EVER, and okay, I'm really juvenile but as far as I'm concerned he can keep them forever. Also, just in case we forgot? Morgana is EVIL. EVIL MCEVIL. WITH A COLD BLACK HEART. EBIL!!!!1! EVEN A GOBLIN SAID SO, AND YOU KNOW HOW ACCURATE THESE MAGICAL CREATURES ARE IN THEIR READINGS OF THEM EVIL WITCHES. Too bad her brain disappeared with her bracelet, because there is no other explanation as to WHY she would go to Gaius FOR A SLEEPING DRAUGHT AGAIN and then DRINK IT, WHAT IF IT WAS POISON AGAIN YOU SILLY GIRL? Sigh.
+ Again, a better episode, though they still need to relegate the House/Cuddy to the domain of Plot B, where it belongs. My favourite part was Wilson's faaaace when he finally wraps his head around the idea of House and Cuddy actually dating; I can identify, Wilson, I've experienced that IRL. The patient was not annoying, except the ending, which was cheesy as hell and didn't work for me at all. I'm all for melodrama, show, but give me *good* melodrama, none of this pointless crap. But it did give us House and Cuddy earnestly yelling at each other in the hallway, which, as you know, I'm a sucker for. Also, clinic FTW!
PS: Enough with the ass-grabs and crotch-grabs already. I swear, the boys' club humour on this show has gotten progressively worse over the years. Remember when House and Cuddy used to trade barbs in the form of sexual innuendos and cane jokes?
