swatkatJust so you know, I have watched the replays of the last ball on Saturday's final an embarrassing number of times (Dhoni's little bat twirl = priceless).

Watching The Good Wife is getting more difficult every week. How am I supposed to watch when Archie Punjabi keeps making those little, heartbroken faces? I am INCREDIBLY invested in the Alicia/Kalinda relationship - not necessarily in a slashy way although that would be okay too - and I NEED them to be okay, and they keep doing things like this:
KILLER: 'I wanna remake my life, like you have. How do I do that?'
ALICIA: 'Well it would've helped if you hadn't killed someone.'
KILLER: 'Oops. I can't change the past, can I? Once a bad person, always a bad person.'
This scene, gnnnngh. I've already squeed about this on Tumblr, but it bears repeating. The conversation here is about his fascination for Alicia, and how he wants to ~remake his life, but the camera focuses on Kalinda. Her FACE in that first cap, when he says, 'I wanna remake my life, like you have.' ;__; And you know she's thinking of the things Alicia has been through, and how she's finally at a better place and how invested she is in Alicia's well-being - and, of course, comparing that to her bid at remaking her own life,which takes us to 'once a bad person, always a bad person.' (Alicia, note, has always been referred to as a 'good person', mostly recently by Owen.)
This show needs to stop breaking my heart.
Also, the first scene, taking off immediately from the previous episode - Kalinda's frantic phonecall to Alicia, gah. And the later 'Are you happy?' scene (where she's obviously thinking how unhappy she's going to make Alicia if she finds out what happened).
In other news, I like Cary now and Peter is a douche, but mostly Kalinda needs to stop breaking my heart.
