I have been trying to have a coherent response to the Warehouse 13 finale, but all I can come up with is: ;_____________;

"Wells and Bering, solving puzzles, saving the day."

Less teary observations:

1. If "I smell apples" is shorthand for "I love you", dear writers, I think I would have preferred the latter outright, for no other reason than it would be nice to have a textually stated romance between two women. It still makes me cry, though. THE WAREHOUSE LOVES HER AGAIN, OMG. REDEMPTION ARCS ARE MY BULLETPROOF KINK, IN CASE YOU DID NOT KNOW IT, FLIST.

2. Why is the gay guy and the bisexual woman dead while the seemingly straight leads are just fine? I should reserve my judgment on this, because there is the whole question of Claudia bringing Steve back and Artie's watch, but I'm going to be very displeased if Steve stays dead (HG had a fantastic arc; Mrs. Frederick could obviously not survive without the Warehouse, but since the show isn't called Warehouse 14, I'm assuming she'll come back at some point).

3. Was that some more of that backdoor pilot, show? I APPROVE. \0/
