I have been considering watching Star Trek: Discovery, but I cannot watch Michelle Yeoh die. That is not a thing I am willing to subject myself to, not at the moment.

I am, furthermore, tired of SFF television/movies that seem to think that one (1) woman in the lead means the rest of the characters can be all dudes. Sometimes they'll even make the effort of diverse casting. But, you know, of dudes. Because heaven forbid WOC co-exist and share screen space for a period of time longer than my general attention span.

I feel you. I'll stick with the show, but it's such a ridiculous and unnecessary flaw. I had such high hopes for at least the redhead officer (White, I know, but at least a woman), yet they haven't developed her so far. :/
