swatkatRight now, I’m shipping Angel/Darla hard. God, this is just so *amazing* - Darla discovering what it is like to be human all over again (after S2). Only this time she’s learning it through her child and she’s not going to forget it again. Darla sobbing ‘I won't be able to love it. I won't even be able to remember that I loved it. I want to remember.’ has echoes of Buffy in IWRY. And Angel of course is cursed with a photographic memory, so he must remember it all.
Rain in the alley = salvation for Darla, even if she has to die for it.
And Connor, miracle boy – he taught his mother love and gave her salvation. I like to think he’s Angel’s Shanshu as well.

I love this show. I want to marry it and have its babies.
