Dude. Stop it. I'm sick and tired of people spamming every.single.House comm out there (including housefic, which is a *fic* community) with 'vote Laurie OMG!!!1' posts over and over again. Yes, we all love HL and think he's hot. No, we couldn't care less for some stupid poll in Hello! magazine. *Especially* when you're voting about million times a day and none of it makes sense anymore. Just... stop it.

...Not all of us even think Hugh Laurie is hot. Kid, we're here because we like the show. That's the sort of thing one should post in a "hugh_is_love" sort of community, and not House MD comms.

I think I have a really good mental filter, because I haven't noticed the stupidity of this fandom. Of course, I also missed out on this thing called "drama" that supposedly envelopes both LiveJournal and your average middleschool, so perhaps I'm not good at filtering so much as simply oblivious. o.O

I just keep running into the stupid. I think I have some sort of a stupid magnet. I'm still very new here, so I'm sort of trying to find the right people and right places to hang out in - and who do I meet? The crazy H/C fans; the weird House/Cuddy fans who think House and Cuddy are in loooove and Stacy 'should be shot'; the batshit House/Wilson fans who insist that House is a w00bie who will be healed by Wilson's magic healing cock and what do you mean there are women in the show? *headdesk*

I'm trying to get to know more and more sane people, though. *crosses fingers*
