I'm bored. So bored. Why isn't it 12.30 yet?

Also, dear Desperate Housewives writers? Pls to stop throwing shit at Bree kthx. When has *anything good* *ever* happened to her in the show? Anything at all? I'm sick of this.

I do love Gabi and Carlos, though. Go Gabi and Carlos! And Edie too.

I think I'm seeing *why* people want to slash Bree and Lynette. It's just that... Lynette's *married*. With four children. I just don't think she's very slashable.

ETA: WTF the match was from 11.30? THANK GOD for my sister.

Bree was somehow...a weaker person this season, which made her far less interesting. Fortunately, Gabrielle's development kept me watching, which was a nice surprise given that she was by far the most two-dimensional of the four during the first season. Now, however, I think she's fabulous. And Carlos! Sooooooo adorable.

I *do* see why people slash Bree and Lynette, and really, it's a perfectly fine pairing and I have nothing against it, per se. But why is there nothing else written?? I've had to relinquish my membership on all the DH comms because I'm just bored to death with it. And why is it always so fluffy???? *Stabs self*

She has to be weak. If bad things just keep happening and Bree has no power to resist and whatever she does just leads to worse thinks and she's just helpless (and not in a noble, tragic hero way), what else could she be? Stupid writers.

I can't believe how much I *love* Gabi now. I hated her in early S1!

And where is all the Edie/Susan? How come NO ONE writes the awesomeness that is Edie/Susan? They're practically *canon*. And Bree/Gabrielle. And Bree/Betty. Gabi/Sister Mary/Carlos.

Gabi kicks ass. I'd love to see her knock on Bree's door, give her a sharp smack across the face, smile brightly and say, "I think you needed that!" and then flounce away.

I see how that could be a problem. That's not so much the issue for me -- mine is that I just don't see how Lynette would have any spare energy for anything else on her plate! (Much less someone as high-maintenance as Bree. Good Lord.)

I know I keep saying that I'll write one of those alternate pairings, and I swear I will when I free up a little time. Because *someone* has to write it, and it seems increasingly obvious that it's going to have to be us. ;-)

I love tragedies. I love pathos and angst when it's well done. This? Makes no sense whatsoever. It's only because of the show's humour that they get away with it - otherwise it would've been a melodrama.
