swatkatMy usual day goes like this:
*wakes up at eight, having been to bed at 2.30 the previous night*
*has class at nine*
*has to walk twenty minutes to reach school*
Swatkat: OMG!
Roommate: Class?
Swatkat: *nods while rushing to the bathroom*
*finishes everything at jet speed*
M: (texts) You're coming over, right?
Swatkat: (texts back) No f-ing way, you come over, we'll take the shortcut through the forest.
M: (texts) But I'm wearing high heels!
Swatkat: (texts) Why the hell are you wearing high heels? Why would *anyone* want to wear high heels in this place????
M: (texts) Just this day?
Swatkat: *mutters*
*makes an unseemly spectacle of herself by having her breakfast in a very disgusting manner on the road*
(on the way)
M: We need to make friends with someone who owns a bike.
Swatkat: You don't say.
M: My feet hurt.
Swatkat: !!!!! *is wearing sensible sneakers herself*
M: I think I'll go change.
M: Just a minute.
Swatkat: *is speechless*
(in class)
Professor: Africa colonialism blah blah blah
Professor: *is obnoxiously cheerful*
Swatkat: *nods off*
D: Move that way. I'm trying to sleep.
Swatkat: *makes mental note to smack him later*
Meanwhile, I'm trying to catch up with the flist, but I think I'm going to give up. I've missed too much. What's up? Anything I need to see?

Date: 2006-08-21 07:00 am (UTC)The profesor in question is actually kinda cute - it's just extremely annoying when you're nodding off and he's extremely cheerful and smiling and expecting you to participate in class... I'll probably be dropping this course. Can't avoid the talk about colonialism, though. *sigh*
Swatkat comes from a cartoon that used to air on Cartoon Network - the SWATkats. It's a name my friends use for me, occasionally. And it goes with my name, as you see. *g*

Hehee, that's awesome. :) I don't think I've ever heard of that show (woe is me with no cable) :/ I can't seem to get my friends to stop calling me Cat - as if adding one more syllable is damaging to their psyche. Oy. ;)
