xkcd is always so very awesome.

The original ad makes anyone with a soul a little teary, I think.

I always love xkcd, but today's comic was unusually awesome.

Isn't it fabulous? I'd not even seen the Discovery ad, and I loved it (then I watched the Discovery ad and loved it even more).

I'd never seen it either! It's a wonderful ad - you won't believe the number of times I've seen it. The song is stuck in my head, and it makes me teary every time I see it.

xkcd, how are you so awesome?

He goes around at night to hospital maternity wards and harvests it from little babies. An entire new generation will grow up bland, soulless creatures bereft of awesomeness, all so you could laugh. (Perspective's a bitch, no?)
