I haven't seen House or HIMYM yet. Haven't had the chance. But! According to fandom sources, the name of episode 11 is 'Joy to the World.' ARE THEY GIVING HER THE BABY? PLEASE TELL ME THEY'RE GIVING HER THE BABY!

The wording "true blue miracle" makes me think Cuddy finds out she's pregnant in this episode (the blue line on the pregnancy test)

I think it has something to do with a baby. The spoiler quote is practically verbatim from a Barry Manilow song, "It's a Miracle", in which the lyrics say, "It's a miracle/A true blue spectacle". The song is actually about a reunited couple, so it's possible it could hint at House and Cuddy giving a more involved relationship a go, but the title of this episode really makes me think it's about a baby instead, perhaps even Joy (the baby) in particular and Cuddy is reunited with her rather than House in a romantic way. The song could apply if looked at from that perspective, and I'm actually hoping that's the way it goes.

I could go along with Cuddy falling pregnant, though, as long as it's not by House. That would be a bit too much for me. Heh.

Same here (much as I like House/Cuddy, it's a bit too fanficcy for him to get her magically pregnant) - I'm hoping it's referring to her getting Joy after all.

Yeah, I didn't used to like the idea of her getting a baby at all, but now I've really warmed to it, and it would be nice for her to get Joy after all that. And it could open up the doors for some interesting plotlines, too. House trying to do his job with Cuddy absent, on maternity leave for a while and not there to support his decisions like she does. See how House reacts to her actually getting a baby now. See how Cuddy herself reacts to it all, possibly seeing it's not as wonderful and idealistic as she might have wished. There's a lot that can be tackled. I'm much more for it than I used to be. Just not House's baby. I agree that it's way too much like fics, like something a less experienced writer would write as a "twist".

Cuddy. Away from the hospital. Struggling between a baby and her *other* baby. Resisting the temptation to make only about five hundred calls to the hospital and sending five hundred other mails and driving the poor interim dean crazy. Oh, and House, being annoying AND desperate.

That makes it, by default, an awesome storyline. *g*

Yes, exactly. And we might also had her other baby, House, now without a supervisor-parent who knows how to deal with him. ;)

But would it be an immaculate conception? Because clearly she's given up on IVF and it's unlikely she's had a sexual partner of late which makes it... miraculous?

I *hope* it's not House's baby.
