Who watched the HIMYM series finale?

[Note that I stopped watching after Barney proposed to Robin and that I know everything that happened in the finale.]

I haven't actually been able to bring myself to watch it yet! So much NOOOOOOOO. I didn't think I had it in me to care this much about the show. It's just so.... NO.

I stopped watching two seasons ago! I did not know I had so many feelings in me, and yet!

I think it's just that I legitimately look fondly back at the early seasons of the show -- and to think they'd do this! WHY spend the last several seasons on Barney/Robin to break them up in the last fifteen minutes and have Barney regress and isolate Robin from her friends? WHY vindicate Ted's obsession after allowing him to grow out of it? WHY sell the story out for a stupid punchline?

Augh.

I didn't see it, but learning what happened made me rage. They sold out not only seasons of character and relationship development but the whole premise of the show? :(
