I'm not quite ready to take this quiz myself (haven't caught up on everything that's mentioned here yet), but I'm getting there, thanks to your pimpage, Swatkat! But I don't feel any temptation to go back and watch Buffy, too -- I'll let you know if that changes.

Ooh, I'm glad you like it! *g* I would love to recommend Buffy to you, but it would be different from your usual taste, since it's full of teenagers. I took me a while to get into Buffy, but when I did... it was one hell of a show. Also, how can you not love a show where you can pair anyone together, and it works? And has slashy subtext that's intentional? (Of course, both are true for Angel as well)

I'm not quite ready for Buffy. Maybe if I get sucked further into that universe I'll rent those DVDs, but I'm afraid that if I do so now, I'll just wind up hating it. But give me a little more time, and I might be willing to try it.

It actually took me quite a while to warm up to Angel as it was (the dialogue still grates occasionally), although I'm quite comfortable with it now.

Hmm, can't say I ever noticed anything wrong with the dialogue, lol! But yes, you don't need to watch the show unless you're *that* sucked in that you just have to know more about the universe. I would recommend BtVS S2/S3 in a heartbeat (just so, so good, gah!) - but it's a different show, with different people and exactly the kind of things that you'd be likely to find annoying. *g*
